About Transmitter Brewing

Transmitter Brewing is a craft beer brewery based in The Brooklyn Navy Yard,  specializing in brewing Belgian-inspired farmhouse-style ales. The brewery, founded in 2013 by Anthony Accardi and Rob Kolb, has earned a reputation for producing stylistically authentic and uniquely delicious beers.

Our beers are characterized by their complexity, balance, and overall attention to detail. We use traditional brewing techniques and quality ingredients, as well as 20 different strains of yeast, to create beers that showcase the varied flavors and aromas of the wide range of styles we produce.

Some of Transmitter’s most popular beers are our Saisons — classic farmhouse-style ales with a dry and spicy finish — and our G series, Belgian-style golden ales with fruity and floral aromas. We also produce other Belgian-style ales, stouts, porters, and experimental beers. Our clean, traditional Lagers will transport your taste buds to the old beer gardens of Bavaria and Bohemia, and at times to Pre-Prohibition Brooklyn!

Transmitter operates a tasting room and beer garden  in our Brooklyn-based brewery, where visitors can spend an afternoon, sample our beers, and purchase cans and bottles to go. We also self distribute our beers to select bars, restaurants, and retail outlets throughout New York City and areas just outside the city.
